OneCard attends the EECS Periodic Review 1

The first Periodic Review of the EECS Project recently took place at Waterford Institute of Technology on July 15th 2010. Those in attendance were the EECS coordinator OneCard Solutions, Ireland and the two SME participants OPTeam, Poland and Mecenat, Sweden. A member of the Executive Management Committee was also in attendance along with the EECS Project Officer and an external reviewer.
OneCard Solutions attends ECCA Conference 2010

OneCard Solutions will be attending the European Campus Card Association (ECCA) 2010 conference in Waterford Institute of Technology, Waterford, Ireland on June 13th - 15th. European Education Connectivity Solution (EECS) Project Update

Work is now well underway for Work Package 3 - Technical Requirements Analysis and Scientific Solutions. A requirement of this work package is to develop the EECS Technical Specifications. Currently a draft EECS four core technical specification is being developed among the three RTDs of the Project.
Technical Workshop

OneCard Solutions Ltd., as Project Coordinators of the EECS Project attended the EECS Technical Workshop in the Radisson Hotel London Stansted on October 15th & 16th 2009. The workshop brought together the SME and RTD participants of the EECS Project along with industry experts and ECCA. The aim of this workshop was to advise the SMEs on the most appropriate technical specifications to use in developing the EECS prototype. The workshop provided a forum for the RTDs to present their ideas to the SMEs of the Project.

OneCard Solutions Ltd., as Project Coordinators of the EECS Project recently attended the Standards Expert Workshop in the Radisson Hotel London Stansted. The workshop was a huge success bringing together industry experts, academics and ECCA. The aim of this workshop was to advise on establishing a set of standards for the campus card industry.
EECS Project Launch Huge Success

OneCard Solutions as project Coordinators of the European Education Connectivity Solution (EECS) is delighted to announce that we have received final approval from the EU Commission under the FP7-SME-2008-1 call. The EECS Project officially commenced on June 1st 2009 and work has already gotten underway on the project by all consortium members.

OneCard Solutions have launched a new vending system ‘Tap & Go’. This system using Mifare technology enables users to get snacks along with hot or cold drinks from self-service vending machines using their Student ID Cards.
