Print/Copy Solution
This open system architecture will operate on any campus network. This facility provides a charging system with simple and flexible administrative control of all self-service printers, photocopiers and multi-function devices on your network. A full audit trail of all transactions is available for individuals, or on a departmental or course basis. The system provides secure, auditable financial control and comprehensive reports, which are designed to assist in the efficient operation of campus life. The introduction of the system to campus environments has led to significant cost reductions, improved service levels and an efficient operation. OneCard Solutions Central Transaction Recording System operates and controls the printing system. All photocopiers/printing devices will be networked back to the central point, which controls the complete operation through a validation process, authorisation and recording system. Each printer/photocopier or multi-function device is networked into the existing infrastructure. This allows for transaction recording and a full audit trail management process. It provides real time validation, charging and credits.
Library Access Management
The OneCard Solutions system operates in conjunction with your existing library management software. The system can use a barcode which is printed on the front of the card or any of the other card technologies e.g. magnetic stripe, contact or contactless chip. Other functions include:
- Library Administration: Within the Library environment the card provides transparent accountability and a range of functionality i.e. payments, access privileges, book loans, identification
- Access Control: Do you need to control who has access to your library facilities? Putting in an access control reader at the point of entry can easily do this and only those who have a campus card can enter. Restricting and controlling access can guarantee you that only those eligible to enter the library can do so.
OnePOS
OneCard electronic point of sale can offer a range of POS terminals, which have been designed to operate quickly and effectively in a campus environment. The system operates by swiping the card at the POS system. The appropriate amount is deducted from the users back office account and the account balance is then displayed. All information/data is on-line to the back office providing the manager with accurate reports in various formats. The system reduces manual processes and increases the efficiency of the service.
OneCard Solutions EPOS system is based on a simple client server model where the role of the server is purely that of data storage. Communications between client and server take place via ODBC (open database connectivity) ensuring that the data can be stored in anything from simple Microsoft access databases to complex Oracle servers. This means that the solution offered is tailored to the business rather than tying people down to buying more hardware than is needed.
The client side is designed to run under windows 98 or higher on a wide spectrum of hardware with a low minimum machine specification again allowing for existing hardware to be used in many situations rather than requiring expensive hardware purchases. The client software is designed with the goals of reliability and stability in mind rather than supporting every last possible combination of business practices. The design is fully modular ensuring that future extensibility (which can be undertaken by OCS Software Engineers) is a relatively pain free process.

- Web Value Load
The Web Value Load application allows students, staff or parents to load funds onto a campus card at any web access point – on campus, at home or from any other location. Web Value Load allows the card holder to use all bank debit and credit cards.
- MobiLoad
MobiLoad is a mobile phone top-up facility application which allows card holders to top up their campus card using their mobile phone. This convenient way of topping up, ensures card holders will never be without money on their campus card. MobiLoad allows users to top up their campus card from anywhere at any time.
- ATM
The Bank Value load application operates by transferring value directly in real time from a bank account to a cardholder’s campus card account using the ATM machines. Value is real time transfer to your campus card account. All major bank cards are accepted.
- Cashier Station
Using the OneCard value load software all accounts can be topped up from a single PC. It’s quick, easy, in real time & eliminates the need to purchase Value Load Machines.
